Withdrawals
In-District Students
Please speak with your school counsellor to withdraw from an online course.
Non-Participation: Students who are not logging in, engaging in course work, or communicating with their instructor will be sent 2-3 reminder notifications. Failure to respond will result in a withdrawal.
Please note that students who choose to withdraw from a course or are withdrawn from a course will not be permitted to retake the same course with us again for a year.
Adult Students
If you would like to withdraw from a course, please send an email to onlinelearning@sd40.bc.ca, and cc your instructor in the email. Please include the following information in your withdrawal email:
- Legal first and last name
- Student number (if you know it)
- Course you would like to withdraw from
- Reason for withdrawal

If you would like to withdraw from a course, please send an email to onlinelearning@sd40.bc.ca and cc your instructor AND your school counsellor in the email. Please include the following information in your withdrawal email:

- Reason for withdrawal
