Out-of-District High School Students
Students who currently attend high school outside of the New Westminster School District are considered out-of-district students.
To register for an online course, please download and fill out the following form:

This form will need to be signed by your parent/guardian and handed in to your school counsellor for approval. If approved, your school counsellor will sign your form and submit it directly to us.
This form must be submitted to us by your school counsellor or academic advisor. We will not accept registration forms directly from the student.
Registration steps for school counsellors or advisors:
- Send the completed and signed form as an email attachment to onlinelearning@sd40.bc.ca, using the subject line: Registration – Student Last Name, Student First Name, School Name.
- Include the Student Profile Report from MyEducation BC as an attachment along with the form (Reports-Other Jurisdiction-Student Profile).
- Provided the registration package is complete, students will receive a confirmation email with details on how to get started in their course. Please allow up to one week for students to receive this email (please ask students to check their junk/spam folders as well).
