NWSS Students

Please speak with your school counsellor to register for online courses.

Out of District Students

Please read the instructions carefully to avoid delay in your registration.

If you are a B.C. high school student enrolled in a school outside of our district (New Westminster), you are welcome to take our online courses as long as it is a new course for you (you are not dropping the classroom course in your current school).

To register:

  1. Check the Course List to make sure the course(s) you would like are available (maximum 2 courses – space and course offerings will be dependent on availability).
  2. Print and fill in the Under Age 19 Registration Form, and have your parent or guardian and your counselor complete the relevant sections.
  3. Ask your counselor for a copy of your MyEd BC Student Information Verification Form.
  4. Send your completed form and the MyEd BC Student Verification Form as email attachments to virtualschoolbc@sd40.bc.ca, using the subject line: E-registration – your last name, your first name. Please attach documents to your email.  Do not paste the documents in the body of the email.
  5. Provided the information is complete and the correct form from your counsellor is provided, you can expect an email confirmation within 3 school days.  Failure to include all of the required information and documents will delay your registration. Please do not send your registration package in more than once.
