Our Courses - Science Courses

Science

Our science courses are media-rich, which facilitates independent learning and enables our students to set a schedule that works for them.  As with all our courses, students can still access teacher help online or in-person (by appointment) as needed.

For the Adult Graduation program, only the grade 12 level of the science course counts as one of the 5 credit-level courses for graduation.

The grade 11 level science course is a prerequisite for the grade 12 level (except for Anatomy and Physiology 12).

The B.C. Ministry of Education-mandated implementation of new curriculum grade 11 and 12 courses for the 2019/20 academic year has begun. Our teachers have been working intently to create courses which meet the new curriculum standards. This means that while many courses are available now, others are still in development. The course lists have details about when these are expected to be available to students. Check back for updates.
