Note: Students can order their transcript directly from the BC Ministry of Education via the ministry’s Student Transcripts Service (http://www.studenttranscripts.gov.bc.ca). Follow the instructions on their website.
For courses you have completed with us, information about what happens once you have finished your course can be found in the sections below:
Upon completion of your online course, allow 2 school days for your final grade to be available to you on a “Permanent Record Card”. This can be emailed to you. Your course mark will also be submitted to the Ministry of Education within 30 days.
If you need to submit to a post secondary school, we can provide a “certified” copy in a sealed envelope. It is your responsibility to send it to the post-secondary school.

High School students:
Upon completion of your online course, your final grade will be submitted to your counselor at your home school. It is the responsibility of your home school to submit the mark to the Ministry of Education.
Students who have graduated with us:
If you have graduated or will be graduating from New West Online Learning (VirtualSchoolBC), we will have an official copy of your graduation transcript in our files.
If you need to submit a copy to a post-secondary school, we can provide a “certified” copy in a sealed envelope. It is your responsibility to send it to the post-secondary school.
Once you have completed your courses for graduation with us, your official transcript and diploma will be mailed to us (New West Online Learning) within 2 months and available for pick-up.
